About Lauren
Hello, my name is Lauren Wicks! I am a Licensed Insurance Agent for The Medicare Store specializing in Medicare solutions in both Nevada and California. I pride myself on providing a variety of Medicare products and services that can change my client's lives. Some of the areas that I can assist in include Medigap policies, Drug Plans (Part D), and Medicare Advantage Plans. It is my goal to work closely with my clients and really get to know each unique individual that I work with so that I can provide the best service possible.
In the four years that I attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, I was able to develop highly refined critical analysis skills through various work avenues, as well as using my undergraduate teachings to guide me into the workforce. I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, which serves as a testament to my expert skills in writing, communication, research, presentation and problem solving/operations.
My post-collegiate years have been filled with adventure—from winemaking in Paso Robles, to financial accounting in Lake Tahoe, to working in orthodontics in Reno, NV. Though my greatest adventure yet has been raising my handsome son, Costner! Yes, after Kevin Costner. My husband and I are big Yellowstone fans!
Over the past few years, I have been able to fine-tune my skill set, learn what I value and what drives me, and I found the perfect fit for me — establishing a career path with The Medicare Store. Those who have worked with me in the past would describe me as an extremely versatile individual — I love to try new things and dive into a challenge headfirst, with a solution-oriented mindset. I have consistently been able to adapt and help my clients find a customized plan that fits their specific needs.
Ideally, I like to be more consultative and employ my 5-star customer service skills as much as possible. Let's sit down and come up with a game plan together! Working with clients to identify a need or problem and providing a solution is what is most gratifying to me as an individual.
