About Dawn
Dawn Brown is a Licensed Insurance Agent for The Medicare Store.
She started her career in the medical field after helping her best friend through her fight with a brain tumor, which was unfortunately lost in 2013. She then committed to going back to school so she could work in the medical field assisting patients with their needs. After working in the medical field for years and seeing that most patients often felt like they were a number instead of a patient, Dawn decided to change career paths. Her experience in medical offices helped her see that patients had tons of insurance questions, because their benefits were not clearly explained, and she wanted to break the cycle.
Born in Richmond, California, Dawn moved to and grew up in Vacaville, California with just about every farm animal you could think of: horses, chickens, pigs, sheep, cows, etc... In 2013, she turned in her farmer's hat and moved to Las Vegas. She is happily married to her husband, Alex, of 10 years, who has a thing for naming pets after villains. Dawn, Alex and their 9-year-old son, Parker, care for two dogs: Ivy (for Poison Ivy from Batman) and Misty (Mystique from X-Men) and two cats: Bonnie and Clyde. Dawn loves camping, hiking, movie nights, Cheesecake, Hot and Sour soup, Thai Yellow Curry, lounging in PJs, and did she mention Cheesecake?!
Dawn, on top of her Medicare knowledge, is a whiz when it comes to music. She shares her passion for music with all that she can. During her free time, Dawn teaches others to play numerous instruments that include: Flute, Piano, Clarinet, Saxophone and more! She has dedicated herself to teaching music for almost 20 years!
She is passionate about helping anyone she can and makes sure she breaks down everything in Medicare for her clients. She works hard to make sure her clients are confident with each and every decision and walks them through the process from start to finish. Dawn works directly with seniors to help them understand their Medicare options, explain their benefits in a way they can understand, and helps them choose a Medicare policy that is right for their needs.
