I am a Licensed Insurance Agent for The Medicare Store.
I want to help people with Medicare plans because:I want to empower them with an understanding of the process and be a reliable source of information.
My formal education includes:A Master's Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Teaching.
My employment/career history before joining the team at The Medicare Store was:Various roles in healthcare. I worked in Member Services and Grievances and Appeals at Kaiser Permanente. I was a Patient Advocate/Claims Coordinator at Included Health assisting employees, employed by large employer groups.
My family includes:My one-eyed cat, Birkenstock, and my four grandchildren.
Something I’m really good at is:Finding the good in life on a daily basis.
My greatest accomplishment is:Starting college at age 42, while working full time, as a single Mom.
My heros are my children because:They have all found their own paths and happiness.
What makes me the happiest is:Spending time with my grandchildren.
Something people might be surprised to learn about me is: I'm just beginning to travel. In 2021, I flew into Chicago, IL, rented a car and did a solo road trip to all of The Great Lakes! To date, I have been to Alaska, Rome, Turkey, Greece, and the Bahamas.
My friends and family describe me as:Fun, lighthearted and dedicated. ****
When I’m not working, I spend my time:Traveling and with family.
