The Medicare Store has been named a finalist for the 2026 Nevada Business Awards, presented by Nevada Business Magazine in partnership with Nevada State Bank.

The recognition is one of the most selective business honors in the state. Each year the magazine honors just 24 companies in all of Nevada, twelve in the north and twelve in the south, chosen for innovation, resilience, leadership, and community impact. Categories run from micro enterprises up to Business of the Year, with three finalists from each end of the state in every category. Being named among them puts The Medicare Store alongside standout companies from every industry in Nevada, not just insurance.

For a company built on free Medicare guidance, the honor lands close to home. Calvin and Karissa Bagley founded The Medicare Store after seeing the unnecessary confusion surrounding Medicare, and they set out to create a place where Medicare-eligible seniors could find clarity. The idea was simple: sit down with a local licensed insurance agent, get personal advice and free educational classes, and never pay a fee for the help. That idea has since grown beyond Nevada, with locations in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.

“It’s not just about insurance – it’s about making sure no one has to navigate this stage of life alone,” Jeremy Weiser, CEO of The Medicare Store, told the magazine.

“The people we serve aren’t just ‘clients’ to us – they’re our neighbors, our friends, and often feel like family,” Weiser said.

The finalist honor joins a growing list of recognition for the company and its parent, Nuvo Health, which has appeared on Expertise.com’s list of the best insurance agencies in Las Vegas every year since 2020.
